The electricity production of a 10 kWp photovoltaic system per day depends on several factors, including location, season, weather conditions, and module orientation. In Germany, a 10 kWp system generates an average of 9,000 to 11,000 kWh per year, which corresponds to approximately 25 to 30 kWh per day on an annual average.

We are currently planning several open-field systems in Saxony-Anhalt with a total size of approx. 37 MW.

Yes, a photovoltaic system (PV system) is worthwhile in most cases – for both private individuals and businesses. The profitability depends on factors such as acquisition costs, subsidies, electricity price development, and self-consumption rate.

A photovoltaic system is not optimal for every company or investor, especially if self-consumption is low, roof conditions are poor, or the useful life is unclear.

However: In many cases, there are solutions such as leasing, tenancy, or alternative financing models that enable profitable implementation even under difficult conditions.

Basic rule: 1 kWp PV output generates approx. 3–5 kWh per day in Germany. For 10 kWh per day, approx. 2–3 kWp would therefore be necessary.
